Sharpening Services

  • Shears: Professionally sharpened on industry-grade equipment and hand-finished for a clean, precise edge. All serviced items are returned cleaned and test-cut.

  • Household shears: Bevel edge sharpening for paper, fabric, or pinking use. Not intended for hair.

  • Clipper blades (A5): Machine-sharpened (not stone-ground) for consistent, reliable results. Each blade is cleaned, aligned, tension-set (blade behind the comb), demagnetized, oiled, reassembled, and test-run.

  • Wahl 5-in-1 (standard): Sharpened and reassembled for smooth, reliable performance.

  • Not serviced: Wahl 5-in-1 Mini blades are not currently accepted.

Clipper Machine Service

  • Wahl or Andis Corded Clippers

  • Clean & inspect the clipper

  • Replace the Blade Drive (included)

  • Test for smooth, proper operation

Pro Tip: If your blades aren't cutting properly, the problem is often a worn Blade Drive — not the blade itself.

Maintenance Tip: Replace the Blade Drive monthly or approximately every 100 pets, depending on use.

Repairs & Parts

  • Shears (as applicable):

    • Tension reset
    • Ride-line cleanup
    • Common part replacements (screws, bumpers, stoppers)

  • Clipper Blades (A5):

    • Alignment and tension setting with proper blade-behind-comb configuration

  • Wahl 5-in-1 (Standard):

    • Sharpening included

    • Platform replacement available (additional fee)

Any extra parts or labor will be confirmed with you before work begins.

Payment, Turnaround & Adjustments

  • Accepted payment methods: Square (cards), cash, or Venmo

  • Mobile service: Payment due on-site after completion

  • If anything doesn’t feel right, notify us within 72 hours and we’ll make it right

Sales tax applies where applicable.

Sharp Edge Club (Member Savings)

  • Salons/Businesses: $120/year

  • Individuals: $60/year

  • Members get 10% off goods and services, plus priority scheduling.
